Providing Safe & Sanitary and Certificate of Acceptance Reports to Homeowners whose properties have alterations that the DCC has not signed off, nor lodged on the property file.
For historic work undertaken before 1993 where drawings, if any, do not match what is presently on the DCC property file. The work will be assessed and any modifications/strengthening work proposed and the as-built drawings and report will be presented to the DCC Building Control for lodgement on the property file.
For work undertaken to a property after 1993 that must meet the NZ Building Code Standards. Some building work may be required to bring any alterations to NZ Building Code Standards. The work will be required to be inspected by a DCC Building Inspector before any work is signed off.
